I am especially pleased because the newsletter gives me an opportunity to thank you all again for your trust in our services these past three years. Life Begins at Three

What a difference three years can make. In just three years, Govan Builders has served more than 80 customers with over 100 remodeling projects including many custom kitchens, master baths and basements. We've also delivered many custom exterior remodeling projects including roofs, siding and window replacements. There are now several custom porticos in our portfolio, too. And, we're still growing to meet your needs. An important part of our customer service now includes this newsletter, developed to provide our customers with news, information and resources to help make your remodeling experience the best it can be. Home Exteriors: Before and After

We've been doing a lot of exteriors in and around Vienna. This project delivered a completely refreshed exterior and with it, a brand new look and feel for the home.

For this project, we:

·    Removed existing front porch roof

·    Reconstructed roof over bay window

·    Designed and built new portico using all composite
     materials

·    Removed existing roofing and siding materials and
   replaced with Architectural shingles and James Hardie
   siding products

·    Reconstructed garage door openings with an arch

Kitchen: After

We're so proud of this project we're submitting it to the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for an Award.

Part of what makes this project special, is that the home and its situation before the remodeling - is very similar to a lot of other homes we visit in Vienna and the area. Yes, this is a complete makeover, but the good news is that we can make even the oldest kitchens in the area - showroom new.

Here are some of the project highlights:

· Designed new kitchen
   for a more open floor plan

· Removed wall separating
   kitchen from dining room

· Relocated large kitchen
   window/ added patio slider

· New kitchen included
   adding an island where
   wall was located

· Project being submitted to
   NARI for potential award
